About the Courses
Course Structure
Classes are held in password-protected classrooms on the Power Play Academy virtual campus.
Your course will consist of two basic elements:
- A series of self-paced lessons that may include readings, graphics, audio, video clips, narrated presentations, homework assignment, and quizzes.
- Interaction with your instructor and classmates through live class webinars, the class discussion board, the campus messaging system, and private e-mail. While attendance at the weekly webinars isn't required to successfully complete the course, it will give you a far richer and more personalized learning experience.
Technical Requirements
For your self-paced lessons, you will need internet access, Flash player, a sound card and speakers, and be able to play Windows Media video (.wmv) files.
To participate in the webinars you'll also need a PC microphone or headset, or you can use your phone to call in for the audio portion. Webcams are optional.
Our learning platforms will work with PC or Mac.
Tuition
Your tuition includes access to all campus amenities for the entire time you're enrolled, including Student Lounge social activities, resource libraries, guest lectures, and student discounts. Alumni will also receive benefits TBA.
Best of all, five percent of your tuition will be donated to your choice of our supported non-profit organizations.
